Implemented: Canadians can now check out using CAD.

CAD checkout has been live storefront-wide since before Christmas; Canadian visitors have been able to see and check out in CAD for months. What shipped this week closes the gap we flagged when that first went live: vendors can now set and manage their own CAD pricing directly from the Vendor Dashboard, instead of relying on us to configure it manually.

For vendors selling in Canada, this means a real, fixed CAD price you control, not an estimate that shifts with the exchange rate. Set it once from the product form; Canadian customers see and pay exactly that number.

Currently supports simple products. Variable product support, additional currencies (AUD, GBP, EUR — each open for votes), and a manual currency switcher are separate, independently tracked requests.
